Would be interested to find a few PH'ers who work in (Mainly Civil) Aviation - Either for Manufacturers, Operators, the Airports themselves, or other parts of the presumedly huge infrastructure.

I have a Univeristy project based around the Sustainbility of the Aviation Industry and its future. There is masses of information available about the more general, obvious stuff, but I would like to get the opinions of some people who are part of this, who's day to day job may be affected by any changes.

I'm interested ton find out if there are any companies that have slightly leftfield policies on Sustainability, and even if there are any which are taking no notice of it what-so-ever.

Ta muchly.

I'm currently working on a study to see how much aviation fuel could be saved if stewardsesses cut down on foundation and were just a few shades less orange.

I am in aviation, I was in the military but now work for a large aircraft engineering company. I make sure aeroplane perform as they are meant to, in terms of serviceability and performance. If they don't then I build a case and place a claim with the manufacturer for compensation, or work towards a solution together.

With airlines looking everywhere to save money, I am quite busy at the moment!
