Can anyone tell me if they cam be unbolted via the speaker hole (with the speaker removed)?

No you'll need the door card off - there are about half a dozen studs extending through the door card all attached with those bloody fiddly little nuts and you won't get them all undone with the door card in situ (or at least not easily or in a time effective way)
