Twin Su carn seprated as one carb?
Discussion
Proper pairs of SU's have either the fuel inlet pipes moved so you can link them in the case of HIF's, or the float chamber on the opposite side of the carb in the case of HS's. It should be no problem to separate a pair, except you may need to re-route your fuel inlet pipe. It begs the question why though, as twins are harder to come by then singles ?? If you have found a pair of HIF44's I could be interested, and I have a metro single HIF44 in stock if thats what your after........
Are they any good ?? I got a set of old MGB carbs from a "reputable second-hand parts supplier" and they were buggered........ If they're in good shape I am interested. Swap you an HIF44 on MG metro manifold ??
