Can't find shell shock 'pain' -- see console

I keep getting the above when killed, then the game won't resume / save and I have to start all over again.......

I downloaded the update it asked for when I first put it into the XBOX 360 and I was wondering if it maybe just needed to re-download and re-install the update? But not sure if you can force that to happen?

Or at best it could be a problem on the disk (well I'll try swapping it tomorrow at game and see if that is it but the disk surface looks fine)

Any ideas, any ideas where to ask?
