Classic car show

Went straight to TVRCC stand only to find no S Gutted! There was 2 Chims, a Cerb, some old Historic tiv's, a 400se, a tuscan but no S !!!

I did exactly the same, slightly disapointed I must say. Great show though.

Me too asked Dave M on the stand and he said (I think) they couldnt get a black S as except for the red/white/blue trio all were to be black following Trevors death earlier this year. Next year we should be there!!!!

There have been some really nice S's on the stand in previous years, so definitely not any anti-S bias

I hadn't noticed they were all black! Shows how much notice i took !

Hiya, good to see you and your friend Norman, hope he saw the Cobra near us, just behind the £3m Maserati 250F (so I was told ).

The stand had a theme, it was a tribute to Trevor hence the cars were mainly black with the exception of a red, a white and a blue for obvious reasons. I do know of a black S (Longers) and I think I've seen a black V8S but there aren't many.

show was good even though it took me 3 hours to get there on a trip that normally takes 45 minutes

Went to the show yesterday, I can tell you now that my legs don’t half ache today after all the walking, but it was a great day outall the same.
Must say though, I thought the TVRCC stand was a little disappointing this year compared to last year, but then that’s just my opinion.

I did ask about last year (I didn't go to it though) and what happened was that TVRCC put in extra funding to celebrate the 60th which enabled a larger stand. So, this year's funding was less and therefore a smaller stand.
