What was your fave F1 race of 2008??

Looking back at the season, being an McLaren fan+Lewis fan, it is a toss up between the final nail biter in Brazil, purely for the drama, and the amazing last lap!!!
And Silverstone which was just simply amazing driving by Lewis..

I'm going with the win in Briton, class race.

As above, but it's got to be Spa for me - even though it was pretty dull up until the last few laps!

Having said that, I think seeing Vettel take a win in the Minar... Toro Rosso was my favourite moment though.

I would have to go for Silverstone & Monaco, both excellent races, especially be Lewis.

BTW has anyone got a link to a photo of Lewis driving out of what loos like a huge grey mist because of the rain, if so I would like it for my wallpaper!

Brazil for me.

I know it's the obvious choice but the tension of the build up, the 'in position to win it' position of Lewis all race until the last couple of laps and then the final 2 corners just produced the most emotion from me from one race for the whole of the season. Decade, even.

There was a fantastic Youtube clip showing a few laps of on board footage from both drivers as the drizzle descended.

Amazing stuff. Hamilton was hunting Raikkonen down mercilessly. After his outbraking manouvre, Lewis controlled HUGE wheelspin in 2nd/3rd/4th gears for two-thirds of the way down the hill from La Source. He never lifted for a moment.

Then we saw some amazing car control from Kimi prior to him crashing out. Fiddling with diff settings on the steering wheel mid-corner, mega snap-oversteer, the works.

Sadly, the FIA appear to have pulled the video.

Whilst the last laps at Spa were a great advert for the sport, the aftermath did more to damage it, so it can't be my favourite. Brazil nailbiting but fabricated - there should never have been a title decider in the first place.

So for me it has to be Monaco, more so that it was in the early season, where interference doesn't usually occur. Perhaps I'll treat 2009 as a 10-race season.

Can't say I really enjoyed any of them that much, however, Monza in the wet was great as far as edge of the seat stuff was concerned - was Vettel going to stay up front? How long would it last before he binned it or the STR broke, or the established order was restored.....
