My MP3's sound Sh*te....
Discussion
Just downloaded Flower (title track to Gone In Sixty Seconds and the Sopranos Theme and they both sound like the recording studio was flooded. I thought it was those two but all my 250 MP3's sound the same.
The Problem wasn't there before WMP updated itself, but if it was that then my MPEG's would be shafted as well but they are ok.
Anyone got any ideas?
Cheers
Stuart.
Oh, I using WMP7, Kazaa for the Downloads and Win ME.

Actually under British copyright laws it is illegal to rip Mp3s from your CD.

Oh well.
When record companies stop pushing shite thats:
a) Not music
b) Not aimed at 8 year old girls
Then I will go back to supporting the recording industry.
OT sorry.
Did anyone else hear the Travis interview on radio 2 the other day (drivetime)? They said very much the same thing - Kazaa is great its showing the record companies that they've all been greedy pedlers of sh1t for too long and the public now have way making their views known. (not a quote but very much along those lines)
Quite refreshing hearing this from "within" the music industry.

A large amount of enlightened record company execs are of this opinion because its true.
The vast majority of P2P users download an album, if they like it then 9 times out of 10 they go and buy it because of the artwork etc.
My major problem is the cost.
Say a CD costs £13
£1 goes to the artist.
£5.50 to the record company
£6.50 to the retailer.
If record companies marketed direct they could do it and make a margin for £8 a CD which I would happily pay...

Case in point, I bought the new Dido album, Life for Rent today after I had a "sneak" preview. Very good album, well worth the £11 I paid from MVC...
Just watch out for the "Copy Protection" on the CD.

For mainstream cack mostly.
Try finding a Floyd album for example for £8 new.
