Sorry for the OT but wanted to use the collective the collective wisdom of the forum. My GF's specs (prada) have snapped their hinge on the small spring loaded joint. The hinge screws into the arm and looks like it could be replaced. The frames are no longer made but I am guessing the hinge is a generic part. Anyone know where I may be able to source a spare hinge?

Thanks

Roger

Have had the same problem.

I just went into High St opticians and they sorted them out.

Think it was Optical Express, but could have been any of them.

They had a range of odd bits that they sorted through and matched up to the frame. Bit of luck as I was away from home and need the specs to drive home.

Take them back to the place you bought them from, or another franchise if you've moved since you bought them. Most will be able to fix them, often without charging. (Wife used to work Specsavers)
