Who can remove my TV aerial?????
Discussion
Rather strange question
We have a TV Aerial on our roof. Its mounted on the chimney, and during pretty heavy winds we had recently, its become semi - detached.
Problem is it bangs against the chimney pot and the noise echos down the chimney, and its keeping the wife awake.
Obviously I dont want it falling off and hitting someone / damaging my roof / chimney / car etc etc etc
Im rubbish with heights so Im not going to do it, so who do I call - local handyman or similar or should I be looking elsewhere?

Anyone who is willing to climb up there will be able to take it down.
One assumes you have other means to acquiring a television signal?
We have sky, plus an aerial in the attic. The one on the roof was there when we moved in and looks as old as the house....One assumes you have other means to acquiring a television signal?

Or a local Handyman/aerial installer.

Get an air rifle.
Insert length of wood dowel approx 5-5.5mm dia in barrel with a plastercene weight on the front end and a long length of thin fishing line.
Fire rod up in to aerial. When it snags and the rod drops to the ground use the line to pull up some thicker rope.
Pull aerial down with rope.
No help at all I just wanted to post an absurdly complex man solution to your being too much of a woman to go up a ladder
