Hi All
just a quicky!!
i am trying to put photos on to the wii, so i can view them in a slide show on the TV.
I have the photos on the sd card and can get them on to the tv but when they come up they have re-oriantated them selves into the origanal setting when the photo was taken (even though i have rotated them on the computer prior to saving them onto the sd card), if i rotate them thats fine but i can't seem to get them to stay that way if i come out of the photo menu.
any one else tried this?

Just a thought - does the camera you used to take the photos have an orientation sensor? My 400D has, and unless I rotate the images in the software that came with the camera, then the orientation data stored within the image header doesn't get altered, so if I then view the image in an orientation-aware application it'll think it needs to be rotated again for correct viewing... So perhaps the Wii is reading the orientation data and trying to do the right thing, not knowing you've already pre-rotated them? Try sticking the photos onto the card without any preprocessing and see if they all come out the right way up.
no the camera all these photos were taken on does not have a orientation sensor on it!
all photos were taken and put onto the computer then re-orientated then put onto the sd card so if you view them on the computer they are all ok but once on the wii they are back to origional orientation. i can rotate them once in the wii but cant seem to keep them that way! if i come out of the photo menu then go back in they have reverted back!!
