Does radio 1, especially Zane Lowe pee you off?

Driving home tonight, flicked onto Radio 1, liked the song - only to be ruined by this complete imbecile Zane Low.
This guy could get a gold medal for England for talking constant crap. He has completely mastered the art in dribbling on for 2 minutes non stop and at the end of it I have actually no idea what he has even said since it was all so pointless and forgettable.
Whilst talking over the end of some crappy dance track (which he does not fade out enogh so you cannot quite make out what he says) he pontificates about how wonderful an influence some unheard of t
t is on the band he has fallen in love with (who no-one has ever heard of).
Then he goes onto to annnounce and play "the hottest record in the world". Who the f...k decides this? Zane? Does the BBC decide for the whole world what is the best track in the world at that moment? Or is it just Zane believing his own rubbish?
I really hope no one out there believes any of the self promoting drivel this moron vomits out.
btw - I am 40 y.o, regularly listen to radio 1.

Personally the only people I can bear to listen to on Radio 1 are Zane Lowe and Pete Tong
The rest are complete cack, and not much better that "Johnny Voice" on your local musical wallpaper commercial station "CrapFM" or similar.
Rest of the time it is Radio 2, Radio 4, and 5Live

Zane Lowe - What a weapons grade cock he is.
I don't particularly like Zane lowe as a Radio DJ, but as a live DJ I thought he was top notch, and on that MTV programme 'gonzo'??? he certainly knows his music inside out!! He is a very specialist DJ, meant more for the specific music coniseur as a posed to Scott mills etc. who are meant for I guess general entertainment....
Radio 1 during the day is a bit cack but Zane's show is great! He's a bit frantic in his delivery but he is truly into the music and champions new stuff which is great; bands of all sorts of genres also seem to respect him.
I'd listen to his show over most of the rubbish on radio and I would pick radio 1 over other stations, except maybe radio 3 on occasions. Don't even get onto commercial radio....!!!

I quite like Zane Lowe, he seems to have a genuine passion for the music he plays and the music on his shows is generally a lot better than the stuff they have on repeat during the day. Trevor Nelson and Radcliffe and Marconi are normally pretty good.
To be honest I probably listen to Radio 5 more than any other station - predominantly for the sport but good for news/debate.
I'd rather eat my ears than listen to Jeremy Vine.
