I was in my 4th floor office in Swanley about an hour ago and thought the windows were going to blow through!

I think it was proven recently that the whole leaves on the line farce is a genuine phenomenon.

It ain't that bad. Rain and wind here in central London, but no obvious cause for concern so far.

I raked all the leaves of my lawn on Saturday morning.

Its now covered in the things again.

I hate this time of year, though its better than the gym for keeping me fit.

It's been very blowy and wet all day here on the IOW but it seems to be dying down now. I hope so anyway as I'm on a ferry first thing tomorrow and I don't want to watch all the land-lubbers spewing up their breakfasts!

Have had some very strong winds every so often down on the coast in Worthing.

The pensioners must be cr*pping themselves.

Me too - there's one that lives around Cowes harbour and plenty that follow the boat when I head out towards Cherbourg or Jersey for lunch. smile
