Funfair & Fireworks
Discussion
Visited the local firework display last night with the family and took my camera along to see what I could get around the funfair. All the photo's were shot handheld (using a fully retracted, lightweight telescope to brace the camera against my body), were shot in raw and have only had a subtle PS'ing. Opinions on these?

did you use a flash with these shots?
Most of them don't have any flash, just the lighting on the rides. When i take pictures in light like this the shutter stays open and i don't have a steady hand and therefore get a blurry photo.
Did you manually set the aperture settings for shots like this? and what setting did you set it to?
Did you have a tripod when taking these pictures?
Thanks

This was the one at 0.8 secs / f8. Thankfully the strobe light on the ride helps to freeze the movement every time it flashes making the image much sharper than a 0.8 sec exposure would normally be.

Thanks for all the comments guys.
