I purchased a packet of crisps from a well known foreign supermarket, it had a piece of blue cleaning cloth inside. So I posted it back to their supplier. Today, the post office advised me I had a packet for collection and I was to pay the postage, £1.29p as the sender hadn't paid enough postage. Yes you guessed it, it was the original package I sent them and they hadn't bothered to collect it! I'm quite mad now, so what would be my next step? Anyone?mad

Dog poo into empty crisp packet. Toss under the shelves next time you are in the offending supermarket.

what are you after? - apology, free crisps for life, their first born son?

wouldn't have bothered personally, but if you want to escalate, get onto cust. services explaining whats happened and tell em you're flaming over this. or write directly to them enclosing a picture of a crying child. then wait for free crisps.

I caught a rat in a trap the other day, too bad it's gone now, other wise that would have done the trick.

Its the principle of the thing now. I don't even like crisps, they were for the OH.

Actually, this was the last straw, as I had a piece of silica in a box of breakfast cereal before the crisp episode. C**p supermarket me thinks.

So, you cant see what you should do next, the way ahead !?

I can appreciate this, in your situation it is inevitable that you find yourself having difficulty seeing what to do next. It is quite an odd but irritating situation to find yourself in.

My suggestion, and it is only my suggestion, so please dont feel you have to follow it, or that i am trying to impose upon you in any way, but nevertheless, my suggestion would be to remove your head from your asshole.

You will find that seeing the way ahead becomes much MUCH clearer !!

hmm 1/10 for effort. I had a pack of those kettle chips a while back which had no flavouring it it, just plain crisps. They were actually quite nice, but I thought it was worth a mention to them so i wrote a nice letter explaining what had happened and that I'd eaten them all so they couldnt have them back but would they like the empty packet ? 1 week later a massive box arrives at the door with 2 large bags of every flavour of kettle chips and a letter of apology.

now thats what I call customer service.
