Just fitted some nice shiny new wheel nuts

IMHO they look sooo much nicer than the standard black ones

Got them from JFS Precision Components. The quality is excellent (Marine Grade Stainless Steel - 316, won't rust)) They are forged as opposed to bar-turned, which gives them greater strength, and are nicely polished and even come in a nice

Have you got them any larger in size or zoomed in to the bolts? Look good, but can't see them big enough.

Fairly standard on TVR 18" wheels unfortunately. Mine all have enough weights to sink a small ship. I had a replacement wheel fitted recently and the tyre fitter (of 15 ish years experience) said it was possible the worst wheel he has ever had to balance. Apparently his machine was telling him the wheel had several huge heavy spots in it, necessitating lots of weights.

They are metric on a cerbera. If they are american would they be AF

Do you know the donor of the hubs. Dont understand why they are differet to the cerbera. Anybody know?

My nuts are for sure metric as last weekend the locking wheel nut sheered, castle got me a new one which is metric.

JFS Precision Components told me that the thread is UNF - half inch. Wheel hub on all TVR's current models is American, from the Chrysler Jeep to be precise!!

Thanks for the tip boys - just got my lovely set of 20 shiny nuts which are going on the Tuscan tomorrow.

Not cheap but worth every penny if they don't rust (and they shouldn't)

Thanks JFS

Got my nuts today and they look great! I will take the car for the wheels to be balanced and the new nuts fitted (lazy git). I would also like to get the wheels aligned. Does anyone have the correct geometry settings for a Tuscan S?

They're standard non-locking nuts.

Here are some I found on the net before I ordered my JFS shiny nuts....

For Tuscans I believe you need part # LN101. Very rare in 1/2" UNF thread and not stainless. Also don't look right as they are a different size.

I decided to stick with non-lockers for that purity of line - and what other car would Tuscan wheels fit anyway so they are not too likely to get half-inched! (I hope)
