Because people are looking around them and seeing people being laid off, companies are going down .... basically a lot of pain is on its way.

ie car sales dropped over 20%, house building down massively, sakles massively, very poor reatil sales figures..

ie everybody not spending as much as before, sales down.

The US down yesterday and Asia overnight. Interest rate decision a worry too. Obamaphoria over. Disappointment over: Toyota, ArcelorMittal, Man Group. Oil down.
