2 TVRs 'talking' to each other under bridge today
Discussion
Yep, me and my fiancee were out and about in Gloucester today, (looking for ovens and other boring stuff!!
), and there was a brand new dark blue Tuscan a car behind our Chim 450. Got to the traffic lights and we were under a bridge, so he revved his lovely speed 6 monster, and I did the same with the V8!!!, It was a pictur seeing the guys face in the car sandwiched in between us
I can't think of any other make of car that you can get away with doing that without looking a total plonker!! lol

tbloke99 said:You and me both. I'm out in the Wedge at least every other day, either around Farnham, Surrey or between Farnham and Hungerford (M3/A339/A4) Swindon (A287/A33/M4) or deepest Somerset (A287/M3/A303/etc.).
You're lucky, I get the feeling most times that I am the only TVR on the road. I've been out 5 times in the past two weeks and have yet to spot another TVR. As for that noise - wonderful!
I see more Tivs when I'm in the Jeep than I do in the 390 ... maybe it's something to do with the driving position
.We don't see an awful lot of other TVrs, to say the least!, it's just nice when you do, and every TVR I have passed, without exception has smiled and waved. We thought we had the only TVR in Gloucester, its nice when there are others around.
When we had a trip to Cornwall earlier this year (about 700 miles in total), we didn't see one TVR, anywhere!!, loads of the usual MX5s and MGF/TFs, it makes me realise why people do stare as we go past,, there arn't a lot of these great cars around, reletively speaking, and to have 2 TVRs stopped under a bridge waiting for the traffic lights to change,, that is VERY rare, what else could we do but just let our TVRs say hi to each other in the only way they know how !!

It used to be 25 years ago in Nashville, you would see an early 6-cylinder Vixen bodied 2500 racing around, and my blue with black top '74 racing around, but I can't remember the last time I actually saw a TVR on the road. Sad isn't it????
In 1969 I was in a dealership where they had TR-6 and TVR cars side by side in the showroom. I eventually owned one of each. The TVR would run circles around the TR, of course.
