Good choice, and yet another case of life imitating art in the Obama story.

He is keeping things bipartisan with Gates in defence, and will probably go more centrist with the other big cabinet positions, while keeping the presidency itself on a steady course, even if some members of his own party would like it to go another way.

I didn't realize that he had accepted the job. Now, let's see if Warren Buffett can be tapped for a cabinet position. If he pulls that off, I will be mightily impressed.
