Hi there all!! Im hopefully collecting my new toy tomorrow and old Chimaera 4.0. Fingers crossed!

Im in Bristol and looking for any pointers as to who could service/work on this sort of car. Its going to need a little work as i beleive the wheel bearings will need replacing...some of the jobs im happy to tackle myself but i want to give her a full going over and major service so i know i have done my best to ensure some trouble free fun come the spring (or any day it looks like it isnt going to rain for 20 mins!! :>

So if there is anyone local with a pit or ramps who has a chim i would love to hear from you and borrow a liitle of your knowledge about how to do some of these jobs, in exchage for some beer tokens of course!!!

Also is there any local meets around here???

All the best P

The Bristol area apparently has a very active TVRCC region so have a look on the club website (www.tvr-car-club.co.uk) and it will direct you to your local RO; they will be able to advise re local servicing, etc. Enjoy the new car!!

You could be in luck. I can help you out with 2 of the 3, the Chim & the ramp, sadly not the knowledge though wink, and I'm fairly local as I'm only in Yate thumbup.

As Jim's already mentioned, try the Bristol Region of the TVRCC. I haven't been for quite some time, but meets are every 3rd Sunday of the month and very well organised, courtesy of their RO (Sharon).

As already said, the Bristol region of the TVRCC have some excellent days out. Mrs MoJo and I were made to feel very welcome last month with about 40 cars turning up for the Chasing Dragons run upto the Brecon Beacons, definately the first of many for us. Great bunch of people and some great cars too. Check out the TVRCC site, join if you havn't already and try to get out on a run. All details are on the regional site.
