A chap has won an item of mine listed but as I have 100+ of the things we have negotiated a purchase price for two of them.

Now in-line with eBays policy and obviously for his own protection he has asked me create a listing to sell them.

Is there a quick way I can do this as a transaction between me and him ONLY - Ie not a general listing BUT without incurring too much of eBays costs?

You can send him an invoice through paypal so he's still protected.

End the listing of the other item, and just get him to paypal the money to you, i presume you have good feedback? he should trust you will sedn him the items, i have done this countless times, never had a problem.

Enter the item as "approved bidders" only & let him be the only one.

Beat me to it.

What Marshalla or Krap said.

Or he buys 2 items and you amend the invoice to reflect the new cost.

Since he's agreed to purchase the item, can't you simply exchange e-mails or something and put in writing that he will get X for Y?

Yes, I do have good feedback (386 and 100%) I think he is looking for security.
Trouble is there is only ONE listed and he requires two and at slightly higher price as I have packaged other items with it.

I suppose I could send him a Paypal invoice but I think (again) that he is looking for the chance for feedback/security.

A private listing would be best but as stated they have stopped this.

I've done it loads of times by just sending an invoice through paypal. Paypal and ebay are the same company anyway now. Just tell him to pay through that, whether he likes or receives the items or not, he can always have a full refund at any time if he raises the slightest complaint.
Last thing that I had through ebay was someone buying something just to leave me a neg. Didn't pay. I reported it, got my other items taken off sale. They love buyers and hate sellers.

he will only get 1 feedback point however many items he buys from you or has that changed ?
