How Many TVR's ...
Discussion
I suspect this has been asked and answered before but here goes.
How many TVRs have ever been built and how many are still left alive and running.
According to the bible the build numbers were something like 10k for Chims and 2k for Griffs but that was in the 90's boom period, so I am guessing at less than 25k cars in total over TVR's history ?
Of course over time several will have perished by various means so they don't all still exist.

That screen capture came from my desktop and is copied from an mail the TVR production manager Ben Laing sent to Land Transport NZ (our DVLA) in response to a request for production numbers to support a Sagaris import application. The accuracy of these numbers debate has been done to death with no real conclusion - someone who knows Ben was going to ask him about it but haven't heard anything out of that.
All I can say is I don't know how accurate these numbers are, but the source is a credible one and he had no reason to lie.
The 1996 Cerberas figure was quoted once in a Cerb forum discussion by someone who I think was an ex-employee, and has been oft repeated since then but I never saw any validation of evidence to back it up.
Bottom line... who knows, possibly not even TVR themselves

I spoke to Ben last week and mentioned those figures. He said he'd created the numbers from some records and figures they had at TVR and SMMT figures he had access to and whilst he couldn't confirm them 100% he said he thought they were accurate as they could be.All I can say is I don't know how accurate these numbers are, but the source is a credible one and he had no reason to lie.

So just another set of figures that 'might' be right.
I'd imagine that they actually bear no resemblence to the numbers actually left.
