Anyone joining Sky TV soon?

[missdiane]

Sky are doing a new offer to new customers- if you get referred from exsiting customer (i.e. me) you and me can get a free Sky Plus box!!
Funnily enough we have wanted Sky plus box for a year now and had agreed to buy it ourselves for Xmas at £100 plus installation-
so if we can get it free then we can spend that £100 getting our roof fixed instead....

Anyone interested?

Would have taken you up on the offer(fnar fnar), but have just switched to virgin as sky are robbing b'stards! sorry!

Have you tried ringing Sky and suggesting that they ought to offer you a free Sky+ box as you can get a free V+ box from Virgin and you're tempted to leave? Often works. Apparently

FreesatHD certainly looks tempting. I rarely watch anything that's Sky-only these days.
