London locations for CAR shoots

Hi guys, do any of you guys know of any great locations for car shoots in/around london, or surrey/berkshire etc..

places like great underground car parks/multistoreys....alleys, industrial, warehouse etc

and also if you have any examples, would be great, thanks for your help

I try and stay away from multi-storeys, they've been to death plus, that's where you park cars, not drive them.


Have a look around the Canning Town area, lots of industry there from scrap yards to power sub-stations (or whatever they're called)! I'd show you some examples but I have none on the web at the mo.

there used to be a really atmospheric railway arch behind shoreditch tube station (was used in the film Children of Men), i've got a feeling it might have been built on though but not sure...

i'd second dean's suggestion of canning town, particularly around victoria dock rd. bit of a dodgy area though

Not sure exactly where the last one was - other than in a multi-storey carpark in Docklands. Possibly near the Citibank building?

The last one was from memory, somewhere near Canning Town station, possibly the Silvertone Viaduct.

I'm sure Dean will be along to confirm exact locations.
