Wisdom / Thought for the Day
Discussion
I heard this yesterday and, for no real reason, just felt like sharing it:
"A country strong enough to give you everything you want is strong enough to take away everything you have" - Thomas Jefferson
Amazing how the founding fathers' wisdom is still applicable today.

To paraphrase Arthur Wellesley, just because a dog is born in a stable, it doesn't make it a horse. Jefferson was born an Englishman and considered himself thus right up until he and his cohorts decided turning traitor on their own people was a fair price to pay for power.

No sour grapes, just in England we learn history and in the US you learn glory-laden, sentimental, mythological propaganda about the US designed to unite your disparate population under one flag, irrespective of the truth!
Never mind, when Obama gets in America will become inward-looking highly-taxed depressed apologists - just like us
