PDA Screen protectors?
Discussion
I've just bought an ipaq for GPS navigation and I've noticed how much you have to use the stylus for dragging maps around the screen. Obviously this is going to wear the screen after a while and I've heard there are screen protectors available. Does anyone have a recommendation and know of a somewhere to order them from?
I've just uploaded the speed camera locations from the PocketGPS website - looks quite comprehensive, looking forward to trying it out properly once I get my bluetooth GPS receiver

The subject of screen protectors gets lots of debating in some quarters. I know people who swear by them, I personally haven't put one on my iPaq. You can probably find some more discussions / recommendations on the forums at www.pocketpcthoughts.com.
What a work colleague of mine did was to take a sheet of acetate (like for an OHP) and cut out a little screen protector for his. Says it works really well - if you get the size right it sort of hooks under the edges and is quite stable.
IMHO if you get a good stylus and make sure the tip doesn't get scratched then you should never do any damage. But then I don't use mine in a car where you might be poking it with dirty fingers rather than the stylus.
