TVRCC Le Mans tickets 2004
Discussion
Afternoon,
I spoke to ACO LeMans this morning and it is unlikely that they will announce the TVRCC allocation and ticket prices until the end of the month. This is much later than last year when I knew the prices in August.
We had hoped to have a booking form in the November issue of Sprint but this is now looking very unlikely.
Please keep youe eyes peeled for the booking form in Sprint. This is a popular event and due to the TVRCC selling the tickets at cost (plus a very little bit for admin) tickets will sell fast. If you are getting a group together it's time to start planning ferries, kit etc.
I should warn you in advance that the sterling price of the tickets will be up on last year as the Euro is now some 10% stronger than last year.
Regards to all.

You can't be a TVRCC member - we do not make profits on Le Mans as the main "commercial" ticket providers do.
There is also no getting away from the fact that ACO price is Euros but in the UK we bill in sterling and the exchange rate has stregthened from 1.55 to 1.42 since the beginning of the year.
So a ticket (costing Euro 50) which would have cost £32.25 now costs £35.21.

So, General Admission tickets will be about £35, how much roughly will camping be, and grandstand seats?
I only ask because I'll be booking for a group 'maybe' as soon as Sprint comes out and would like to have the info for a pre-Le Mans meeting some time next month
I'm not going to hold you to the prices, I just want to give people a rough idea what it's going to cost them

Morning Steve,
I don't have any prices or final allocation as yet. The ACO have told me they will have the info at the end of the month. Last year the ACO increased entrance tickets by E2.00 and Camping by an average of E3.00.
I would hope they would not be putting up the prices again - but who knows.
As soon as I know prices, they will be announced on the TVRCC site, in Sprint and here.
Like last year, as this is a service to TVRCC members, every car booked via the Club Office must have a TVRCC member n it. Only fair.

Have you volunteered to do it for E Mids then Raceboy, or are you organising a private group?
Yep but because I'll probably not be attending an Old Ship meet untill December I'll be organising an aditional meet sometime in November for interested parties somewhere in the 'North Notts' area
