Last few days the Humax has stopped recording some series linked programmes that were scheduled in, but others it does fine. Before I start pulling it all out the wall just wondering if anyone else has been having problems of this nature!

Mines exactly the same, don't think there have been any update either.
Series linked for Eastenders and Holby for the Mrs and neither taped, wasn't best pleased.
Spooks didn't record either. Just realised these are all BBC1 programs so maybe the signal from the beeb isn't being sent out correctly?

Perhaps that was what Wossy was paid so much for?

Well a couple have been on the BBC, but also some on... erm... whatever channel it is that puts a double episode of Futurama out last night. Also failed to record something on ITV.

We've had the same problems with Cbeebies and recording Thomas & Friends on 5. Everything we've set up that isnt kiddie programming has worked fine though.

We put it down to half term schedule changes and are waiting to what happens next week.

Maybe worth asking at www.hummy.org.uk?

I've had issues too. Series link doesn't seem to work much at all anymore.

I'm intending to format and restore the box but it's a chore getting MrsR to watch all the st she has recorded on it.

When mine starts messing around, I've found old entries, with dates that have already passed, in the recording schedule menu. Deleting all the past ones seems to put it right again.

Never had series link work frown

Much easier to trust human entry (so long as you remember to set it!!)

Sadly the truth is that most of the software, across the different manufacturers, is a bit off kilter. Try this web site for dates when downloads to update your soft ware are due. http://www.dtg.org.uk/retailer/download_schedule.p...

same problems with my Humax PVR. The series record function was introduced at the last software update. It fails to record intermittently.

Glad to know it's not just mine.

Strange - mine has recently stopped doing this too, with 2 series that have been recorded fine for the last few weeks, but didn't record last night.

Ours worked this week (we also tape Holby, and it's on there).

It's the 9200 though, what version do you have?

Nothing to do with the clocks going forward?

Just a guess.

Yes, you do. And the Humax (9200 in my case) has been rated one of the best for years. tongue out

I think that because lots of people are experiencing issues at the same time, it's more likely related to the EPG and not so much the Humax itself. It started all of a sudden, so hopefully it'll end all of a sudden. No new humax updates yet, but then as far as I am aware, the latest was meant to be the last for the 9200 due to new product line ups.
