A VICAR turned up in agony at a hospital — with a potato stuck in his bottom.
The clergyman told stunned casualty nurses he fell backwards on to his kitchen table while hanging curtains.

He happened to be nude at the time of the mishap.

Etc etc

Why was he preparing to roast the potato(s) in Vaseline, when we all know that goose fat is the real deal?

As much as I dislike Ricky Gervais, I do like his standup "bit" about these kinds of hospital admissions.

"And everyone always says they fell. How did you bend physics to achieve that outcome? And why were you naked? If I was a doctor, I'd have a lot more respect for someone if thay came in and said: I know what I was doing, You know what I was doing. Just take it out and I won't do it again."

Our local vicar died a few years back now. He was found in a crumpled heap at the bottom of the stairs, naked, with an orange in his mouth and a bin bag over his head! I found it quite amusing and no great loss as he was the most arrogant man in the world.

I found it less amusing when I found out his 8 year old daughter found him, poor girl.
