Having been to LeMans for the last few years and discovered/re-discovered places by more accident than judgement, we decided to get a decent scaled map for '04.

So, purchased this off the web a week or so ago, www.mapsworldwide.com/mwwlive/m9925.htm £8.25 including postage. It arrived yesterday and looks ideal for finding you way out to surrounding villages, and using those little tracks to the 'non-spectator' parts of the track.

A worthwhile addition to our Le Mans kit I reckon!

Now that's a good idea, I'll take one of those.

Had to paste the link into a browser to get it to work though...

www.mapsworldwide.com/mwwlive/m9925.htm,

had a nasty comma in it.

Very useful. I bought the green series maps this year to get us from Calais to Le Mans. Normally go from Cherbourg and that route can be done blind folded (almost).

Found the green series not quite detailed enough for very local navigation so this will be a good addition

Excellent, had a good map on my list for next year, so this'll be ideal.

Mind you, I'll be taking a mate who knows which way round a map goes which'll be a bit handy.

I have taken the trouble to find another source of the map for you.
www.stanfords.co.uk/mapdetails/mapdetails?item_code=113573
Is to the same scale and should have the same detail.

Thanks for that DustyC, still waiting on the order from Maps Worldwide.

Just tried to order all three of the maps Stanfords do for Le Mans (1:100,000, 1:25,000 and 1:12,500) but the shopping cart manages to forget the first bits of the order before finishing, have send them mail telling them what I want instead - will see how it goes.
