I've been sorting out some old emails (too much time on my hands, I know...) and came across one that Steve Heath sent me in 1998 when I first had a test drive in a Chimaera. I was amazed at the range of sensations it produced and Steve responded that I'd truly got the bug now, and that it was incurable.

He was right.

Has anyone found that it eventually wears off? My bank manager for one would thank me!

It can wear off, sometimes for periods of years but the virus that replaces it, Ferrarites in my case, is even more expensive!

No, I too have been confirmed to have Terrific Vehicular Recreation syndrome. I am hoping that I can keep it in check with a Chimaera 4.0HC, but at the moment it might be getting worse as the doctor has ordered me to stay away from sports car dealers and not to look at Tuscans...

The bank balance is doing OK at the moment, but my fear is that if I let Terrific Vehicular Recreation get any worse then I may need address this with some treatment known as Liberal Oratory Access Numerousis to correct this.

Still, enjoying it though....

Cheers,

Paul

Apache,
I know exactly how you feel.
Just hit the 2.5 month mark.
I've started grunting at people. Days last forever.
I will be one V happy bunny if I get it back on Monday.
