I'm currently a few weeks into a diet - and losing weight I am. However, I keep needing to take paracetemol at least twice a day to get rid of headaches. Is this normal? I'm drinking lots of fluids before anyone asks.

Yes it is - your blood sugar levels are all over the place. Your diet doesn\'t sound like a good one. Who invented it?

Sounds to me like your diet is too extreme. Cut down gradualy. Something like a cut of 500 calories a day for a week, then another 500 etc etc.

Stop taking tablets - they often give you headaches + you get addicted to 'em like crack.

Your blood sugar will sort itself out and you will be fine.

Unless you are diabetic?

Sounds like blood sugar levels. I did a marathon a few years ago. (Now much too fat to consider such a thing) and after training runs often got a real splitting headache. Wasn't until I worked out what it was that I figured it could be cured using Lucozade.

This may not be entirely in accordance with our diet, but you could try fiddling to ensure that your BSL remains more consistent throughout the day.

Are you eating enough? As I understand it, with WW you eat better versions of the food you'd normally eat?

PS what fluids are you drinking?

Coincidentally I've had random headaches recently, mostly first thing in the morning and have been diagnosed with sinusitis. I'm now on antibiotics and feel better than I have done in ages. Might be a good idea to take a trip to the GP if you're regularly popping tablets twice a day, that or quit the diet for a bit and see if it clears up.

If you've given up coffee as part of the diet that can cause headaches.

If you stick to a diet of 40% Protein / 40% Carbs / 20% Fat (good fats!) split over 6 smaller meals a day you shouldn't get cravings, your metabolism will increase and you should achieve constant loss which won't come straight bak on. Thats how I lost my 6 stone smile

I like the sound of this diet. Do you know why? It's a "diet" you can live with for the rest of your life. Most diets are unsustainable and will mean that you end up yoyo dieting as your weight goes down and back up (often higher than when you started off). It's good fun... if you like being fat.

That's thw whole purpose of it, if you 'diet' i.e. eat well for 3 weeks then revert to your normal habits habits you'll never get anywhere. It has to be a complete lifestyle change, ideally with weights and cardio routine too.

Edited for pics:

Results using regular gym routune and the 40/40/20 routine

Me before: 21st 7lb

After: 15st 5lb

And a slightly camper picture because that last one makes me look too small!:
