Anybody know of a good website to pick up some good free ring tones - in particular, the imperial march from star wars.

I've tried using the search facility oh PH but it's knackered at the mo.

Cheers in advance,

CP

Are you a child? Comedy ring tones are not for people of sound mind above the age of 14 I'm afraid. Do you also wear a 'comedy' disney tie occasionally as a concession to humour?

95% of phones made in the last 5 years can use MP3s as ring tones surely? So just download an MP3 of it. Or try google.

To hijack the thread then, how do I get an MP3 from iTunes onto somewhere on my laptop so I can bluetooth it to my phone?

Tried it a few weeks ago but failed.

I wouldn't bother - you run the risk of being called a disney tie-wearing 13 year old who's bored on their half-term hols

iTunes stores music in your "my music" folder. Go searching. If its a MP£ just can them bluetooth it using the phones software.

If its not MP3, you'll probably need a converter.

It'll be converted if its on itunes anyway, but if not just whack it on itunes then find it in the itunes folder!

Found the .mp3 file, but it appears I don't have a Bluetooth device on my laptop. frown

Does that prove I'm not a 13 year old?

Does the phone have a memory card? Fire it onto that from the laptop. Or use a cable...

It does. And is is too tiny to fit in my multi card jobbie.

I think I either need a micro SD/SD adaptor or one of those Bluetooth USB dongles. Will have a look in the shops later.

So its MicroSD. I've got an adapter right here, loads infact. Will swap one for a weekend with the TVR wink

Have you tried rubbing the phone against the screen of your laptop? Make sure the screen of the phone is facing the screen of the laptop, otherwise it'll end up playing backwards.

Similar to scanning a document, then?

To the layman yes, but to the expert (me) there's quite a difference.
