Was looking at used Clubman S today.... I cant believe how cheap they are going. Saw a 57 plate, 5k miles, chilli pack and few toys for £14k!!!

Im sure new with Chilli pack you are looking at £20k!

Im very tempted to chop my Cooper in for one.... hmmmm

My wife and I did exactly this. We picked up an April 'O8 Cooper S Clubman with every optional extra apart from sat nav (even has full colour coding and 18" JCW Alloys) from a main MINI dealer for just under 17k back in August.

List price would have been around the 25k mark.

Do it you won't regret it...the clubman is a fantastic car. I have hardly drove my Volvo C70 since we bought the MINI!

Im sure they were the launch cars the dealers got, its no bad thing. When the Cooper D hatch came out there were lots of pepper white and black with flame spokes going around.

My sister just bought an ex-demo Clubman S with all the toys which listed at £25k, and paid £17k for it with 6k miles. Cracking car and her favourite feature is 35mpg compared with 25mpg from her old Cooper S!

Sounds like these make a good used buy. Its essentialy a MINI + some more space for less cash, who would say no to that. Add to that the fact its far less common

EDIT: Problem is theres only 152 clubmans (all models) in the whole UK MINI Cherished network..

My Clubman is "only" a cooper but loving it so far, can't recommend it enough.

(39.4 mpg since new, 1200 miles so far, and I'm "enjoying" it! )

Bare in mind they were only introduced this year, so that would be the reason for that.

Many new things are coming on the mini front over the next year or so, its an exciting time.

Just bought one today from Sytner's, Cooper S with Chilli pack, 18" alloys, Bluetooth and a few other extras for less than 16K - lots of deals going and great cars.

If only I hadn't taken such a bath on my E39 M5 I would be even happier!!
