The Brand/Ross thing has brought this to my attention again.

How is it possible that 10,000 people "complained" about this FFS? Haven't they got anything better to do?

It's the same with the situation where people write and complain about TV adverts etc.

If they don't like it, who's forcing them to watch it?

You never, ever hear about people complaining en masse here in France about such unimportant things. People keep themselves to themselves and wouldn't presume to poke their noses into other people's business unless it was a real injustice, in which case they would absolutely protest.

Makes me mad. mad

(yes, I see the irony that I'm complaining, but it's not official hehe)

Because if no one complained, things would just get worse.

If we weren't complaining about it then we'd have to do something about it and that's just not the British way.
