Come on chaps lets have a reminiss about cars we wish we still had financialy or emotionally,I'll kick off I actually have two regrets,
1/ mk1 (66) Lotus Cortina ,dry sump L2 cams,45s,minilites,ect ect,I do remember it breaking down a lot though!I loved that car.

2/ 993 (94) 911 lhd 3.8 engine, guards red, black leather ,a/c no sun roof or rear wiper,18" anteras, sorted suspension, bit of both on that one just a fine car sticks in my mind,

Sorry if this has been done to death but better than moaning about the credit crunch!rotate

Ahhhh. My 1988(E) Graphite grey (with red carpets) 205 1.9 GTi.

And, my last car; 2004 Elise 111S (which I replaced with an Exige). The Elise was so well balanced, so perfect for the road.

My 1968 Mustang in black... met my wife when I had it, used it as my wedding car too. Sold it early 2007. frown

Also my 1990 BMW 325i Sport, again in black... funnily I drove it up to see the Mustang before buying it.

Great cars.

My minter than mint 40k mile E36 M3 Evo.

Seemed like a good idea at the time, now I'm not so sure.

Sold it to another PHer, so at least I know it's in good hands.

weeping my 3.2 944 turbo sold this year just couldn't afford to do it justice by doing the bits needed to finish it off! Had to go to a richer owner to clear the debts I'd built up on it.

My mk2 MR2... it's not sold yet, but it will be by the end of the week. I've probably seen it for the last time already. frown

I know it's not much in comparison to some of the other cars on offer here, but with a young family to pay for now it's probably the coolest car I'll have owned for the next 3 years at least. I keep seeing other ones parked up in car parks and catch myself giving them forlorn glances...

They're only bits of metal, why do we get so attached to them? weeping

Ditto, I loved my S2. Cost peanuts to run, sounded fantastic and was plenty fast enough for normal road use. Sold it for a Chimaera which cost me a fortune to run and was no where near as fun to drive!
