OK, quite possibly the dullest question on p&P ever, but can anyone explain how this tap works?

http://www.appliancesuwant.co.uk/acatalog/Vixo.htm...

Ive tried phoning abode direct but they couldn't explain either!!!

Basically, how can you control flow and temperature with one turn??

I can get the temp change, but how would you control the flow of the desired temp as well?

Thanks and appoligies paperbag

Something you're posting through is escaping them. It is something at your end.

What browser are you using?

I've had a quick look around some tech forums and knowledgebases and can't find this affecting anyone else.

Do you have any suspicions as to what is causing it?

I could have one of my tech guys talk to you if it would help.

mmm, a bit crap then as it could be full on and splash everywhere, or take forever to fill the sink up which could frustrate the wife when she does the washing up smile

Genuine question YY.

I'd have thought you'd want to resolve it.

Mum and Dad have one, works well, like they say pressure is on/off, control the temprature by turning.

The trick is to have them running into a deep sink, then they don;t splash at all, fill up pretty normal speed, they do look good and make people ask same sort of questions you do, good talking/focal point.

Which was the actual dullest question on P&P ??

The 'How does this tap work ?' or the 'Where are the backslashes coming from ?' !!

I wonder if you could adjust the flow by closing the valves into the tap slightly to a reasonable flow for the sink?? scratchchin
