Just for info, an article in the Sept 2003 GM High Tech Performance magazine reported the following test details in a C5 50th anniversary.

Standing Quarter

5 second burn out to warm tyres
Launched at 2800 rpm
12.76 @ 111.96
0-30 2.2 seconds
0-60 4.7 seconds

Thought the RPM bit was interesting

Presumably the bloke what did it didn't have to pay for his own clutches and tyres !

I got my best 0-60 launching at 3200 rpm so I can believe 2800 would give a good time (BTW 12.76 is not a good time).

Official GM website says the Coupe does the standing quarter in 13.22, so 12.76 is a good time unless you're in a Z06
