Nothing - that's the whole point of the story. It's made to look like he's some sort of Mellor type, when in fact it states he's a nice chap.

Curious.

Anything to keep the spotlight off Mandy though eh?

As far as I can make out the basis of that article is that Osbourne knew/knows a dominatrix?

And?

Robin Cook, Labour cabinet minister, used to write porn stories for Forum magazine.

NO!

Nobody could behave in such a dreadful way yet be hailed as the saviour of all of our potential economic woes.

The OP is a Labour party activist.

This non-story has been created by Labour spinners to deflect attention that Gordon Brown has borrowed the country into a black hole form which there is no escape - and we will all - OP included - be paying dearly for it in increased taxes and lower pensions.

Its a sleazy hit piece.

Who else was on the boat?
The revelations about parties on Queen K, the yacht owned by Russian oligarch, Oleg Deripaska, reveal a dark parallel universe that Jo Public is blissfully unaware.

The heady mix of a Russian billionaire worth an estimated £16.8bn; Lord Mandelson, a prominent EU Labour commissioner now back in Britain as a leading cabinet minister; George Osborne, the shadow chancellor; Rupert Murdoch, the worldwide media magnate; and Nathaniel Rothschild, scion of one of the world's wealthiest banking families, all on the same deck is breathtaking

Osborne was foolish for being on the Russians boat. He was then foolish for using personal relationships to try and harm Mandelson.

None of which is illegal or against the rules, mind you.

What is of more concern, is that Mandelson, someone of previous bad character and now under suspicion of giving favours in his position of power, is back in Government at this pivotal time.

Osbourne is an idiot. That much is clear from all of this. Mandelson is a sleazy shyster, but we all knew that already.

All this story does is reinforce the idea that both parties have dodgy muppets in them and that neither should be trusted with a boiled egg let alone a country.

Osbourne has shown such appalling judgement over this story, do you really think he's fit to be Chancellor?

Looking at recent and then previous incumbents yes. What changes?

I'm no fan of Brown, but compared to Osbourne he's a genius! Osbourne is a weapons grade to**er. Mind you, you could say that about most people who populate the houses of parliament.

Wonder if the real reason for the kiss-n-tell is that Osbourne suggested she shave her armpits?

Brown and genius in the same sentence...have you been on the sauce?!

Gordon Clown is no genius. Unless you want to buy some gold - gold that he doesn't own - from him under 'favourable' market conditions, or like working until you're 95, or (etc).
