Unable to use search facility....

Looking at 156, ok service history but belt was changed 2003 at 85k (now done 110k) so mileage wise it is "ok" but is there a time scale involved here?

Getting a bit tired of looking now! And of sellers mis-describing thier cars!!!!

Any help appreciated!

Alfa still quote five years (or 72,000 miles) for the V6 belts, but most specialists recommend a bit of a shorter interval than that. So at best, it's due right now. smile

I'd get it changed as a few cars have failed at 5 years.

Get a Q2 fitted at the same time wink

It's Alfa's limited slip diff. It's standard on the new 147 Ducati and the sportiest GT Cloverleaf, and it's a really popular upgrade for older cars too.

I've just had one fitted to my car and can't recommend it enough, the speed you can carry through corners now is out of this world. The steering also feels a lot more precise. They cost about £500 fitted.

Check out www.alfaowner.com for some more detailed Alfa chat (including about cambelt changes).
