It's the English language remake of the rather excellent Spanish film 'Rec'.

Are they still making Saw films... rolleyes

They are boring, dull, unimaginative, pointless, torture crud.

If you want to be grossed out, just go and stick your head in some public toilets. The contents of said toilets are probably better formed with more substance and originality than these awful films.

Saw 1 = win

Saw 2, 3, 4 & 5 = tedious, bland, formulaic crap.

I've seen Saw 1, and saw Saw 2, but not seen Saw 4 or saw Saw 5. I love the scene I seen in Saw 4 though.

Yes they are, thanks for your positive input. If you don't like the films, don't post in topic about them.

"They are boring, dull, unimaginative, pointless, torture crud"

I for one find them very imagintive.

Dare I ask what films you do find suit you taste?

I've seen the first 4 but not the new one yet. Will probably watch it but won't bother going to the cinema.

The plot has got more holes in it than a room full of cheerleaders...

Missus wanted to see it, so we went last night.

If you've seen the first four its worth watching, if you haven't you're likely to be confused.

Interesting, plot isn't the best as it is all about killing, blood and torture afterall.

Whomever thinks up the 'scenes' though of how to kill, etc are one sick motherfker. It is actually quite fluid and well written, has been left open for a sixth film - which I'm sure will follow.

Girlfriend had the wits scared out of her, I flinched once at some loud music but it wasn't scary nor that gory...although I'm sure the majority will disagree with that.

It has also given me an idea for a film I'd like to produce. Anyone have Quentin's number?
