have the radio on in the office and workshop most of the day as background noise.

Im currently listening to magic fm alot through the pc due to it having very few adverts, normaly 30 mins of songs (ok, mainly st ones to be fair!)

Can anyone else recommend a radio station with very little adverts and most importantly no wacky fkwit radio presenters that talk utter fking pish.

Don't listen to KISS or Rock FM if you don't want to listen to crap presenters (or music!!)! I have suffered enough here already!

So, you want to listen to good music, with little or no talking?

What's wrong with an iPod-type thing and dock, and a few 'try before you buy' downloaded albums from the 'net?

probly not your cup of tea - but the manchester version of http://www.rockradioscotland.co.uk/ has the rocbloc in the morning and evening - 106 mins of advert free music, with no dj jabber.

dont own such a thing they are for poofs! I have a Mini disc player but it gets a bit boring listening to the same songs all the time.

Listening to chill its different to say the least, not bad though. ill give all the rest a listen, brings me on to my next point. Going to another job on monday which will envolve driving a van to sites for a fair bit of time. Im guessing the van wont have a DAB radio, how much is one for a van? Are they any good?

I thought that conventional type radio stations by law were only allowed to broadcast a certain percentage of music per hour. Hence the fkwit dj's, stupid competitions & boring interviews with so-called celebs'

Go to http://www.last.fm/ and set up your own (DJ-free) radio station with only your favourite genre(s) of music. Don't like a track? hit 'next' feature too!

From what I've read on here, DAB in car radios are pish.

What is DAB? How do I find 'Chill'?

I like music in my garage when I'm working, but I always gravitate to Radio One, with their sprinkling of cocktard dj's and bullpoo 'news' broadcasts.

I have a Sony CD player/radio, but I can't be bothered changing CD,s every half hour or so either.

You'll need to get a digital radio, to allow you to get the DAB stations.

Some are available via Sky TV, but I don't think Chill is one of them.
