'Er indoors has just had an urgent enquiry submitted through her website.

Conversation was struck up with 'client' over email, he suggests due to urgency of matter she phones at a specific time. Enquiry was directly related to the service she supplies, asking all the right questions.

Though the language and the distinct lack of ability with a keyboard looked odd and didnt fit with the usual customer profile.

Telephone number the 'client' suggested she call started 07031 9

Bit of googling suggests that this is a premium rate scam, calls to those numbers are charged at 50p/min

Just something to be aware of, if you werent already, the crafty fkers.

Hardly a scam though, 50p a minute? Not going to get rich off that.

"Oftel records show that numbers starting 07031 9 are allocated to Magrathea Telecommunications Limited"

Scale it.

Say they're running this scam via website submissions 1000 times a day with a 25% hit rate and each punter they keep on the phone for 3 minutes.

Thats £375 a day for basically fk all.

Add a zero, which is conceivable and then you're into proper money.
