Think you posted in the wrong forum but the overwhelming feeling of many on this site is that ebay is st and I wholeheartedly agree.

Have you emailed them and asked where it is? I'd give you even money that Parcelforce have it somewhere; they're a bunch of useless s. I wouldn't bother with the eBay complaint yet - they're largely pointless anyway.

Are you sure he hasn't sent it and Parcelforce haven't lost it? It wouldn't exactly be unknown!

File a item not received complaint on the 7th day after purchase, he'll then have to reply with proof of delivery.
You can then decide to continue in which case (if you paid by paypal) you'll get a refund after a further 7 days, I think...

All the support will be with you, not him. You could now, if you wish, leave him negative feedback but he will only be able to leave you a positive, for example. Presume you've chased it with him? I had major problems (leading up to xmas) with sending parcels last year as, in my opinion, the part time posties were nicking anything that looked like an XBOX, Wii or something electrical.

Good luck, and just remember it might not be his fault yet.

i yelled at him and he provided me with the tracking codes. Went onto the parcelforce website, and the meatrifle only posted it on friday, so its not been doing anything over the weekend cos parcelforce dont work on sundays or sumit :s

Either way i want to get the money back i paid extra for 48hr delivery, otherwise its just a big waste!

Anyone know where i can buy a baseball bat mad

So do I now. Nearly two weeks ago I tried to set up a sellers account & just kept getting a message saying "there is a technical problem & we can not proceed at this time"

I contacted ebay & received an email informing me that my mail had been forwarded to tech' support. One week later I contacted them again asking if there was any update with my problem. I have had no reply & heard nothing since, apart from two emails asking me if I was pleased with the service I'd received & would I like to fill out a customer support survey. The second time I did & am sure ebay got a response they weren't expecting. laugh

What you paid for was the class of posting - 'Parcelforce 48 hr'. Short of Royal Mails 'standard parcel' it's about the cheapest postage method there is. I doubt he guaranteed 48 hr delivery so your chance of getting any cash back is slim. A week is a piss take; generally I only buy stuff I want fast off of big sellers as they tend to be run like a real business.

Are you honestly that close to tears because your xbox has taken longer to arrive than you'd hoped?

Sounds to me like he has sent it by ordinary Royal Mail Parcels not Parcelforce 48.

All Parcelforce items have a tracking/barcode number issued at time of postage (on the receipt).

I always email this to my purchaser - if you haven't got it ask the seller and track it via www.parcelforce.com.

If he says he hasn't got the number ..............

As an aside I use Parcelforce alot and they are fine IMHO - alot of my 48 hr stuff is delivered within 24 and the tracking system is very informative
