..connections. How can It be done? As on medium security setting, it says other users can see your pooter but can use its resources, but on lowest it says the firewall is off! Any ideas?

I don't know what settings you have as default (can't remember) But to have 2 PC's sharing you have to make each zone alarm see the other PC by going to the Firewall Tab, clicking Zones Tab and adding the other computer's IP address as a "trusted" computer.

Do this on both PC's.

Put ZA on the computer that is connected to the outside world.

Allow connections from the IP address of your other PC by adding it to the 'trusted sites' bit of ZA.

Enable ICS (internet connection sharing) - can't remember off the top of my head how to do this.

Job done.

{edited to add} - you shouldn't need ZA installed on the 'other' PC then, as all its traffic ought to be being filtered by ZA on t'other one.

Typing "internet connection sharing" in the search box brings up the fact that you need the pro version for ICS to work

If you have zone alarm pro, go into the firewall tab on the left, the main tab at the top, and click the advanced button at the bottom, you should get a new window.

in the middle of the window it should say something like, this machine has ICS, or whatever and be unticked click the select button and it sohuld put your ip address in the box below.
