Worms World Party
Discussion
Anyone play this?
I'm hoping to pick up a copy next week, I love old Worms games so I quite fancy playing it online.
Please remember this is not a new game, its something like 5 years old, so don't go asking about when its out and getting excited. For a fiver, I think it will be a great purchase.

I'm a big fan of the Worms games (The original worms IMHO ranks alongside Lemmings as one of the best games of all time).
I wasnt however impressed with World Party - I'd really say not to bother with it.
Worms 3d (I thought this was spot on), Forts (Different, but dodgy camera angles) or Mayhem (Seems like an updated Worms 3d but somehow lacks something I cant put my finger on) on the PS2 are the ones normally hauled out for Multiplayer.

Interesting. I was never a fan of the 3D Worms games, I felt that the series was perfect in 2D form, and 3D was going against the whole concept of the game. I'm also too lazy to have to aim as well, the 2D Worms was much easier to aim with. I wasnt however impressed with World Party - I'd really say not to bother with it.

I'm also only after the PC versions of the game, I want to play it online. I only have one controller and no internet on my Playstation for a while so this is my only option.
From what I have read, World Party is just a continuation from Worms Armageddon, which I have played and really liked. I have a copy of Worms 2 back at home, when I am next back I will have to pick it up and have a go. I will also try to find a copy of Armageddon in shops, it was a great game.
Cheers chaps
