Let me tell you what makes me ask. I have a really nice poster of Damon Hill when he won at Silverstone in 1992. I think it is worth framing but am curious to know whether I would get it signed prior to framing? Anyone ever gone about anything like this before?

Odd question probably but I`m sure someone knows the answer.

He does give autographs as most F1 drivers will do - or at least he did as I have one, but not on a poster. I imagine if it's of high personal value you may not want to send the poster to P1 with a request but if so I think the address is:
P1 International Limited, Imperial Park, Randalls Way, Leatherhead, Surrey KT22 7BR. Otherwise it would seem to be a matter of finding yourself near Mr Hill at an opportune moment, which may not be easy.

Wait until next season and get thyself to a BTCC meeting.

Hill Jnr (Josh) races in the Ginetta Junior championship and the old man will be at most events.

Ps....hint if you do get him to sign it don't mention 1992, that was when he was driving the Brabham and Nige won. He won it in 1994 wink

Thats true, find out where his 'office' is and send a request there. Some ask for a small donation to charity or other small fee sometimes and some dont bother.

The best place I found is the Goodwood Festival of Speed (check guestlist first) , you have to turn stalker , be at the right place at the right time.

Ok how about you find out where he lives and steal a UPS/Parcel van or Post office issue bicycle (sure it's not essential but it adds to the authenticity of the whole thing) Go and knock on his door/gates and ask him to "sign" for the parcel...you see where I'm goiing with this?? Genius I tell ya...

Obviously celotaping a delivery note to your poster wouldn't look great...
