Anyone know of a source for a bulb for the clock? Halfords et al had no idea - no call for 12v 2W bayonet apparently. Tks

I had the same problem with the radio display in my Vauxhall Ashtray. Couldn't find any 2 watters, so fitted 1.2 watters (I think) in their place. Funny thing is the display now lights up brighter than it did previously. They have lasted a month so far, so I guess that means they are alright.

Have just looked at your car on your website. I really really really want a TVR.

If it's the same as the speedo bulb then a decent motorists discount centre should have them in stock. I upgraded my speedo light from a 2W to a 4W to get around the fact that the speedo is dimmer than the other instruments. Hasn't melted anythng yet

Nice idea Trefor, did you have to take the dash out to get to the bulb or is it just a case of getting your hand up inside?

Trefor,

Did exactly the same, switched from 2 watts to 4 watts - any discount motorist shop will have these. Put the 4 watts in the speedo since this only has 1 bulb while the rev counter has 2. Both clocks look exactly the same brightness now.

You will need to tak the dash off.

Rich - it's a dash-top off job (you can just reach if you only undo the LH bolts and lift the dash-top up like a bonnet - bulb holder just pulls out I think). I guess a Griffith may be different though.
