Wow, you got bored of that pretty quickly!?! HowVeryItalian.com next?
Dont know anything about the 575 other than it looks the mutts and is the only car I can currently think of that I would buy (to use day to day) instead of a Cerbera*.
Edit: *If I had the cash - even then it might be a 550 and a Cerbera...

Did 16K in 3 months in my 550 - just soaked it up - no problems (although the wheels fell off after a hard track day!!!).
Lots of servicing, and tyres if you turn the ASR off - highly recommended - and no skimping on costs!
If you're looking at putting high miles - I'd reckon a later 550 would be as good - else you'll take a tremendous high hit in a new 575M - as I did with my 550.

That's what I wanted to hear! Do love the look of the 575 tho! Off to search for 550 pics........
Buster,,,have to agree on 550 it is a level above 996 in terms of class & ambience...I have heard Frosties car with a Tubi and it is possibly the best road car I have ever heard (don't tell him though).
As much as I admire the 550,,I would look into the admittedly heavyweight DB7 v12 vantage,as after all they are "so very english"!

Whilst unfortunately I am not in the position to choose from the above mentioned motors there is no way I would choose a DB7 over a 550 / 575.
Just too big and heavy and full of Ford bits.
The new DB9 on the other hand is just gorgeous. Looks amazing and has bespoke switchgear to give it the quality feel Astons deserve..
If it is for a predominantly everyday car I would go for one of these and try and stretch to a 360 for the weekends (or 355 if funds are a bit tighter)

It is having only one parking space in London that causes the problem - any 2nd or 3rd car I have to leave at my place in East Sussex.... not always ideal!

Good value second hand,,,just seen a 1999 550 with 7500 miles & full spec for £71k,,,,,,private sale and obviously a warranty would be needed. Even so you are at the low end of lhd 360 money here.
That is damn cheap actually -
I was chatting to a delare who said second hand they are a disaster to sell - not easy at all.
