If someone knew about this why didn't it get dealt with before a child needlessly died?

The mother, also of Haringey, has admitted allowing the death of a child, but denies causing his death.
She should get the death sentance too.

"The mother, also of Haringey, has admitted allowing the death of a child, but denies causing his death."

I've tried half a dozen times to type something to described how I feel about this sentence and the mentality of the person it's referring to but I just can't. The words don't exist.

Doesn't name the mother, but the article posted last week about this (no, I'm not about to start screaming repost!) does name her and has a pic.

Why did social services not take the child from them?
There is no way they could have hidden all those injuries with chocolate.

I guess the kids that survive lesser abuse than this grow up to be the ferral scum that goes about kicking innocents' heads in.
Violence is normal to them.

I think this is a different case, as last week's one was about a little girl.

Makes me feel sick.

I wouldn't go that far but I do agree the system is still screwed up IMO, there are a lot of people with a responsibilty for the care of young children and Labour have supposedly implements systems to stop these kind of things going so far. Sadly the systems are so complex and slow to start that stuff still slips through the net.

Basically the problem is too many professionals with different responsibilties that don't have time to talk to each other.

As all three were over 18 at the time of the murder, what legal reason could there be for keeping their names secret?
