I am not really into naming my cars or indeed using Chimp etc. But what will happen to the Tamora?

A guy who I speak to through work today (who sees himself as a car-nut and liked to call my car Cheeky-Chimp ) asked what I thought of the new TVR Tammy.

Be assured, he will be dealt with in the appropriate manner

I thought we'd gone for "Tomorrow" at least that what my local dealer always said when asked when they'd be getting one. Still it's arrived now so I guess the jokes gone stail.

IMO Chimp is so unTVR.

I call mine Sir because you have to treat it with respect. I do sometimes question it's parenthood though.

Why can't we just call it a Tamora?
Calling a Chimaera a Chimp pisses me off! There's no P in Chimaera anyway!
Grow up and call the cars the same as Mr Wheeler does!
Cheers..... Andrew

Yeah, I understand the "Griff" thing but not calling a Chimeara a Chimp.

The previous owner of my car used to call it "My little HAKKer" due to the number plate.

Not my idea you understand -

I agree with the respect comments - I've always thought of mine as "The Monster" as I'm never quite sure who's really in charge (unless we are blowing away an M3 and then we both seem to have the same idea and act as one)

Just an idea...

How about calling a Chimaera a Chim and the Griffith a Griff as most do,
as for the Tamora, how about Tamora.

Is it really necessary to shorten a six letter word?

I drive a S and I've never felt the need to shorten the name.

Is it true that if you reverse a Tamora you get a funny smell from the circuitry in the ECU?

Cheers
